The interview
Your first session is an interview
It takes 60 minutes. Nothing is tested yet, and nothing is decided.
We talk about your history
School, work, relationships, health, and what made you ask the question now.
We plan the testing day
We choose a date and I set up the room to suit you.
We go over the fee
You have the fee in writing before we start, and we talk through how your plan may treat it.

Before you come
What to bring
- 01
A list of questions
Whatever you want the evaluation to answer.
- 02
Old records, if you have them
Report cards, letters or earlier evaluations. Many people have none, and that is fine.
- 03
The name of someone who knew you young
A parent, a sibling or a friend. I only ask them with your permission.
- 04
Your questionnaires
I send them ahead. Fill them in at your own pace.
Questions
Questions about the first visit
What happens at the interview?
We spend 60 minutes on your history: school, work, relationships, health, and what made you ask the question now. You fill in a few questionnaires beforehand, and with your permission someone who knows you may be asked to fill in a short form too.
What is your cancellation policy?
The testing day is held for you alone, so I ask for 48 hours' notice to move it and 24 hours for the interview and the feedback visit.
What is confidential, and what are the limits?
What you tell me and what the testing shows is private, and I share the report only with people you name in writing. The limits are the ones the law sets: a risk of serious harm to you or someone else, or a report the law requires. I explain them at the interview.
Ready to book the interview?
Write a few lines about what you would like looked at. I reply within two working days.
